Whether you live in a big city or a rural area, there are countless issues to contend with in our world today.  Everywhere you look our property, our freedoms, the very fundamental ideals of American life are in danger.

Unfortunately that list could go on and on.  From the big league politicians of the major political parties to the Small Town Councilman, it seems they all want is to maintain their power and control your life.  They incite division, classifying people by race, economic standing or ethnicity when we are all supposed to be equal under the law.  They use your money (through taxation) to by votes by promising largesse to a particular group.  The problem is, it’s not theirs to give and so long as this practice continues, political discourse will continue to get nastier and any hopes of a civil society will be but a dream.  Those of us who have had enough of this better get busy before we slide completely down the slippery slope we’re on today.

So if you believe: 

• The Bill of Rights is the key to our American values
• Government is a necessary tool in ensuring those rights, but should be held within the limits of the Constitution
• Individuals have the right to protect themselves and their families
• In Environmental Responsibility
• Value a Superior Education
• Believe people should be secure in their persons and their property
• In a Strong National Defense
• In Ending Corporate Welfare and Government Waste
• In Ending the destructive war on drugs
• In being free to enjoy the pursuit of happiness
• In reducing our tax burden
• In enjoying secure retirement
• In safe and affordable health care
• In being tolerant of the personal choices of others
• A principled, consistent approach based on self-ownership and personal responsibility
  

Then you value what most individuals hold dear, but recognize that what is considered ‘the norm’ today in approaching these issues and solving these problems is not working.   

It seems that while anyone with a pet peeve can get a law passed today and anyone with the right connections can get an earmark, standing up against them can’t be done alone.   So what can we do about it?  Where do we start?
